Production internship were at John Deere factories in europe

The students of the specialty “Mechanization of Agriculture” of the Turkmen Agricultural Institute, as well as the Turkmen Agricultural University, together with their mentor teachers, from September 13 to 20, 2025, completed their production internship in the Federal Republic of Germany and the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The main purpose of the internship was to get closely acquainted with the modern machinery produced by John Deere (Deere & Company) in Europe and to strengthen their theoretical knowledge through practical training under production conditions.

In the city of Mannheim, at the John Deere tractor manufacturing factory, students had a meeting with specialists, where they were presented with the history of foundation and development of the company its achievements, and future plans. During the visit, the students explored the entire production process of the tractors of models 6110M, 6125M, 6140M, 6155M, 6175M, 6195M, and 6R, starting from the smallest parts up to the final assembly of the machines. Most of the production stages are highly automated, carried out with the help of robots and specialized machines. The factory also serves as a center for research and development of the entire mid-range John Deere tractor series.

The program continued in the city of Bruchsal, where students visited the factory specializing in the production and assembly of cabs for various John Deere machinery, as well as the main spare parts warehouse of the company.

In Kaiserslautern, at the European Technology and Innovation Center of the company, which is the source of its innovations and pioneering achievements, training sessions were held on the features of the “Work Planner” software used for planning agricultural operations. Discussions also focused on teaching methods for introducing students to digital control systems in agricultural machinery.

On September 19, they visited the John Deere plant in Horst, Kingdom of the Netherlands, which produces trailed and self-propelled sprayers. During the tour, students were introduced to the latest sprayer models and their innovative features, including the “ExactApply” system, which allows precise application of fertilizers and crop protection products, and the “See and Spray” system, which uses cameras to detect weeds and spray only the necessary areas. The group also observed the production of the M700i and M900i trailed sprayers, the R4140i and R4150i self-propelled sprayers, and the newly launched 500R self-propelled model. The students had the opportunity to see the assembly, painting, and final testing of the machines, as well as to receive answers to their questions.

As part of the trip, excursions were also organized to technical museums, as well as beautiful and historical landmarks. The students of the specialty “Mechanization of Agriculture” significantly enriched their professional experience.

Expressing deep gratitude for the wide opportunities created to study the technologies of world-leading companies such as John Deere, and for preparing highly qualified young specialists for agriculture, we sincerely wish success and prosperity to all initiatives of our Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar, aimed at the well-being of the people and the Homeland.
