A subject competition in genetics was held

Guided by the efforts of our Esteemed President to provide modern education to the younger generation and develop science, the institutional stage of the subject competition in Genetics was held at our institute. The competition was organized to increase students’ interest in this complex and fascinating science and to test their theoretical and practical knowledge.

During the competition, students demonstrated their skills in contemporary issues of genetics, the basics of molecular biology, and new methods of selection. This is a practical manifestation of the state policy to improve the country’s science and education system and to train highly qualified specialists meeting international standards. Consistent organization of such competitions in the future will contribute to the development of young scientists and further strengthe the scientific potential of Turkmenistan.

As a result of the intense competition, students who stood out from others with their deep knowledge and distinct abilities-namely, 4th-year Agronomy student A. Amanmyradov, 3rd-year Selection and Seed Production of Agricultural Crops student Sh. Shyhyyev, and 2nd-year Greenhouse Management student R. Miriyeva showed high results and became the winners of the competition. The winners and active participants of the competition were awarded Certificates of Honor.

The competition participants expressed their deep gratitude to our Hero Arkadag and our Esteemed President, who create extensive opportunities for the youth to be educated and scientifically minded.
