TURKMEN AGRICULTURAL INSTITUTE HOSTED AN INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL ONLINE CONFERENCE “RATIONAL USE OF NATURAL RESOURCES IN AGRICULTURE”

On April 22, 2026, the Turkmen Agricultural Institute hosted an international scientific and practical online conference titled “Rational Use of Natural Resources in Agriculture.”

The conference brought together prominent scientists, teachers, young researchers, specialists from Turkmenistan, as well as experts from a number of foreign countries on its online platform. The main goal of the forum is to exchange scientific knowledge, best practices and practical developments in the field of efficient use of land, water and other natural resources in agriculture.

At the conference, representatives from Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Belarus, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Moldova, Mongolia, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Hungary, Vietnam, and Uzbekistan delivered insightful reports via a digital system. These presentations focused on the role of rational natural resource management in the sustainable development of the agricultural sector.

The Turkmen Agricultural Institute, being the leading agricultural institute and scientific center of the country, actively promotes the development of agricultural science and the training of highly qualified personnel for the industry. The holding of the international conference emphasizes Turkmenistan’s desire to strengthen scientific potential and expand international cooperation in this vital area.
