An advocacy and educational meeting was held at the Turkmen Agricultural Institute on the occasion of World No Tobacco Day, as well as to combat illegal drug trafficking and other crimes among students. The event was attended by doctors, representatives of law enforcement agencies, and public organizations. The purpose of the meeting was to explain the consequences of harmful habits and the risks of fire hazards, as well as to promote a healthy lifestyle and national moral and ethical principles.
As is known, in the year of “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses”, noble work is being carried out through the boundless care of the Esteemed President for the bright future of our people. This includes protecting the younger generation from harmful habits and raising them in the spirit of national traditions. During the event, speeches were made regarding the importance of guiding youth toward national values and ancestral heritage within the process of modern education, highlighting the immense harm that bad habits inflict on human life and the future of the younger generation.
During the speeches, it was noted that “World No Tobacco Day” is held annually on May 31 at a high organizational level. Particular emphasis was placed on the fact that most of the more than 400 substances contained in cigarettes cause serious damage to health. Specialists explained that these substances contribute to the development of lung cancer and used specific examples to describe how a strong addiction is formed in those who start smoking at a young age.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the participants expressed their boundless gratitude to the Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for their paternal care for the happy life of the people and for creating broad opportunities for student youth – the future of our mighty Motherland. Those gathered wished Arkadagly Hero Serdar sound health, longevity, and success in great endeavors for the benefit of the country and the people.
