Under the wise leadership of our esteemed President, ensuring ecological well-being, protecting the environment, and rationally utilizing natural resources stand as priority directions of the state policy in our independent, permanently neutral Turkmenistan. The grand annual celebration of World Environment Day on June 5 across our nation serves as clear evidence of the profound respect accorded to nature.
Within the framework of the scientific-practical conference titled “Ecological Well-Being and International Cooperation in the Year “Independent, Permanently Neutral Turkmenistan – Land of Winged Steeds””, the 3rd sectional session, titled “Issues of Improving the Ecological Condition of the Aral Sea Region,” was held. The session was rich in reports of immense practical and scientific significance. Conducted with the active participation of leading scientists and specialists from the Turkmen Agricultural Institute, the section meeting addressed 7 key scientific areas aimed at ensuring the sustainable development of the region.
The speakers at the conference – Senior Lecturer Yazguly Atayev, Senior Lecturer Aynabat Kerimova, Lecturer Gurbanmyrat Rejepov, Senior Lecturer Ayjeren Tagandurdyyeva, Senior Lecturer Guvanch Myradov, Senior Lecturer and Candidate of Biological Sciences Bahar Yusupova, and Arazmyrat Amanov presented detailed and profound scientific reports on improving the ecological state of the Aral Sea region, paving new ways for a more precise study of the regional ecosystem.
The scientific proposals and research findings put forward during the conference will serve as an essential tool for further improving the ecological environment in the Aral Sea region.
