A SCIENTIFIC-PRACTICAL CONFERENCE DEDICATED TO WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY WAS HELD AT OUR TURKMEN AGRICULTURAL INSTITUTE

On June 1, 2026, a scientific-practical conference dedicated to World Environment Day and the key directions of environmental policy was held at the Turkmen Agricultural Institute. This scientific-practical conference took place under the solemn motto: “The environmental policy of our Esteemed President is the guarantee of the country’s ecological well-being and the happy life of our people.”

Currently, under the wise leadership of the Esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedow, environmental protection, the careful preservation of natural resources, and their transmission to future generations are among the priority directions of Turkmenistan’s state policy. The role of innovative technologies and digital systems is growing day by day in ensuring the sustainable economic and ecological development of our country. At the scientific-practical conference, organized to scientifically substantiate such important matters, the legal, economic, and technological conditions for ecological sustainability were comprehensively analyzed. During the plenary and departmental sessions of the conference, a number of lecturers and students presented reports enriched with highly effective and sustainable proposals regarding the results of their scientific research work. Among the particularly bright and impressive presentations at the conference, the comprehensive and profound reports by Dowlet Durdyýew, a senior lecturer at our institute, on the topic “Digital Ecology – The Core of Innovative Methods for Monitoring Natural Resources,” as well as by senior lecturer Ajeren Tagandurdyýewa on the topic “Legal Foundations of Turkmenistan’s Environmental Policy,” aroused great interest among the participants.

The scientific views and effective proposals discussed during the conference will serve as an important guide in the further development of agricultural production on an innovative basis and in the improvement of the ecological culture of student youth.

At the conclusion of the conference, the participants expressed their deep gratitude and endless appreciation to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag, and the Esteemed President, Arkadagly Hero Serdar, who create extensive conditions for the consistent development of the country's science and education, the attainment of modern education by youth, as well as for environmental protection and ensuring ecological well-being in our state.
