A creative essay writing competition titled “Magtymguly Pragy – the light of the world of words” was held

In the The Revival of the New Era of the Sovereign State, every day in our country is adorned with festive celebrations and historic dates. Today, the Day of Magtymguly Pragy’s Poetry and the Day of Culture and Art Workers are celebrated with great triumph across our motherland. In connection with this glorious occasion, scientific-practical conferences, engaging meetings, and creative contests are being held in various regions of our country.

One such creative competition was held at our higher education institution. Organized by the "Shohratly Taryh" student research club under the Department of Social Sciences. A creative essay writing competition titled "Magtymguly Pragy – The Light of the World of Words" was conducted among the students of the institute, from June 20 to June 29, 2026, to mark the Day of Magtymguly Pragy’s Poetry and the Day of Culture and Art Workers.

Eleven students expressed interest and submitted their essays for the competition. The jury declared 5 students as winners. In the competition: 1st Place was awarded to Babayeva Oguljeren and Satkenova Nasiba the 1st-year students, Information Systems and Technologies specialty, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, 2nd Place was awarded to Orazmyradow Mekan the 2nd-year student, Veterinary Medicine specialty, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, 3rd Place were shared by Potchykow Dowletgeldi and Nurmyradowa Mahriban 3rd-year student, Veterinary Medicine specialty, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. The winning students of the essay writing competition were awarded Certificates of Honor of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degrees.
