A CELEBRATION WAS HELD TO MARK THE INCLUSION OF THE ARTS OF DUTAR MAKING, DUTAR MUSIC AND MUSICIAN'S ART INTO THE UNESCO LIST OF INTANGIBLE CULTURAL HERITAGE OF HUMANITY

Thanks to the tireless efforts of our Hero Arkadag, great progress and proud results have been achieved in studying our national heritage and presenting it to the world in a new light.

The musical event held at the Turkmen Agricultural Institute took part in the musical event of Dashoguz Velayat and young artists, as well as young artists who were apprenticed to the institute’s group of apprentices. The songs and pieces from the Turkmen dance performed by them brought spiritual joy to the students. Also at the event, the teachers who teach arts have pointed out that the extensive study of the art of making dutar, playing music on the dutar and the musician’s art is of great importance for our youth to grow into patriotism, heroism, pure morals, determination, courage, loyalty to their promises, and spirited youth.

By studying folklore, we learn how people lived a few years ago, their economic and political life. Folklore has always served as an inexhaustible source of literature and art. Therefore, the importance of studying it comprehensively, using it, and applying it never goes away.

At the end of the musical festival, the participants expressed their appreciation to the President for his fatherly concern for the happy life of our people in our beloved country. They wished that the Honorable President’s soul would be healthy, his life long, and his work prosperous.
